Under the cover of darkness, the fourteen super-heroes launch their assault! And swiftly the mind-controlled Wonder Man and Atlas respond! And ultimately, so does their main adversary: Count Nefaria! In the meantime at Pier Four, a confused Moonstone clashes with Mr. Fantastic and the Invisible Woman! While back in Burton Canyon, Scourge finally makes his move against Techno! Story concludes in Avengers #34. Cameo appearances by Duane Freeman, Dr. Karl Malus, Andrea Sterman, and Madame Masque.
