A discredited Civil War soldier returns from the grave, or so it seems, and Captain Marvel, Jr. is determined to get to the bottom of it. Tough soldier Bill Battle and his company are ordered to the front lines in Korea by General "Iron Pants" Rowley, and that's just fine for Bill Battle. Western hero Tom Mix investigates after a white man kills a Native so he can provide gold nuggets to the sinister Evil Eye Doggin.
