In fact his transformations into the man-rat are occurring less and less often. Could the end of Vermin be near? However strange things happen on a full moon…and a weird group of creatures rises from the sewer system and storms into the NYU medical center! And then proceeds to kidnap Edward and Dr. Kafka! Wow, truly bizarre! Does the Spectacular Spider-Man know what's going on? No, he doesn't. But rest assured…he will. (Notes: This issue begins the three-part Death of Vermin storyline.
