The Comedians; After Sock accuses her of having no sense of humor, Pepper hits him in the face with a pie, leading to an all-out war of corny pranks. Busy Signal; Alex takes Josie to Lover's Lane in his spectacular car, but his romantic advances are interrupted by the ringing of the many phones in the car. Trouble; Melody thinks she's a "janx" (her word for "jinx") because all the boys have accidents when she's around. Josie disagrees until her old friend Dan DeCarlo also goes ga-ga over Melody.
