Despite the 10c cover price, this was a giveaway comic. "Knight's Falling"; Pop helps the cowardly Sir Klumsy, who wants to marry a princess, but her father, the king, won't let him do so unless he conquers an ogre; Sir Klumsy runs when the ogre arrives, but Pop wins him over with a serving of Tastee-Freez. "Grin and Bear It"; Dot, Lotta and Red are setting up a picnic near the woods when a bear cub, which they dub Junior, starts to eat their food. Dot chases him off a couple of times, the second time running into Mama Bear; The two bears chase the kids from the food, then start eating it themselves. "Change of Space"; An alien in a spaceship is chasing Princess Snowflake. Pop learns that the alien is determined to disintegrate the entire planet, but changes his mind by giving him some Tastee-Freez. "Little Dot Meets Uncle Speedy"; Dot accompanies her Uncle Speedy to the Midget Auto Races, where he is to be a contestant; His car has engine problems right before the race, and while helping him, Dot inadvertently starts driving the car in the race. "The Ski's the Limit"; Dot and Lotta go for a weekend trip to a ski lodge; On their way there and once they arrive, Lotta has several accidents involving the same tough looking man. "Finders Keepers," art by Howie Post; Tee and Eff find a pirate treasure map and follow it to a buried treasure of Tastee-Free. "Ride 'Em Cowboy"; Richie Rich is on vacation in Hollywood; While riding around on a bike, he accidentally and unknowingly enters a movie lot and disrupts several different shoots. Teaneck New Jersey Junior High School 1940 Yearbook. Features a picture of twenty students reading 1940 era comic books on the front steps of the school. The comics pictured are 1939 to 1940 issues including Superman #3, Whiz Comics #4, Blue Beetle #2, Adventure Comics #48, Science Comics #3, Tip Top Comics, Super Comics, Ella Cinders, and the first issue of Marvel Comics. The text to the right of the picture reads: "AH... the 'great American institution.' Comic books! A class in themselves. What will happen to Superman? Trade for Eddie's next month's copy. Will Dick Tracy accuse the wrong man? Will Batman and Wonderboy wipe out crime? Read next month's issue, you can get your copy at your local newsstand." Perhaps even more amazing is the presence of a young Paul Volcker as a 13 year old seventh grader. Volcker has served as undersecretary of the Department of the Treasury, and president of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. His eight-year tenure as chairman of the Federal Reserve began in 1979, one of the most challenging economic periods in modern U.S. history. Volcker is pictured in a large group shot (not in the comic book photo). He graduated from Teaneck High School in 1945. 80 page hardcover, black and white, 7.75-in. x 10.75-in., binding in rich red with embossed numbers and design.

Extremely rare in uncut condition; many copies are found with pages missing because four pages feature activities for children that required cutouts. 48 pages comic book story pages written around Crosley TVs and appliances, The back cover featues a full page ad depicting a variety of Crosley televisions with such features as perma-clear picture, unituners, built in antennas and wide-angle screens. LSD and bad tripping, amphetamines, metamphetamines and cocaine, the consequences of overdosing, barbiturates and the convulsions they bring, all are discussed as are opium, morphine, heroin and the horrors of opiate withdrawal.
