Technically the second series, picking up the Families of Altered Wars numbering from Tigers of Terra Families of Altered Wars (1987) #12, but the first FoAW series from Antarctic Press. In this alternate-history world, time travelers change with the course of World War II and resulting history, allowing artists Nomura and company to create fanciful aircraft from the past and future. In the aftermath of the time-altering events, the Axis powers battle the Allies into 1946 with advanced aircraft; meanwhile, in 2039, Commander Oberlicht of the Tigers of Terra deals with the resulting Planet Wars and the invading Viragonian space fleet.
