Edited by Stan Lee. Stories by unknown. Art by Gene Colan, Allen Bellman and unknown. A messenger has interrupted Steve's class to let him know that, after six months of healing, Bucky is ready to be picked up at the hospital. The two have a tearful reunion after which they are gassed in a cab by one of the Trickster's henchmen. He takes them to a garage because the Trickster knows he can get to Cap through Bucky and releases Steve so that he can inform the papers in "Trapped by the Trickster!" with pencils by Gene Colan. (Note: Bucky's last 1940's appearance; introduction of the Trickster.) A disguised Captain America takes his place, and Bucky substitutes for the boy. They reveal themselves and are mopping up the spies when the blind boy comes out of the apartment attempting to help. One of the spies grabs him and threatens to shoot him. Captain America deflects his aim, but the gun discharges near his head, restoring the boy's sight. Captain America and Bucky hand over the spies to the police.
