Like other EC annuals, this is a compilation of unsold copies of EC war comics with a new cover. Contents vary, but usually include issues of Two-Fisted Tales and Frontline Combat; one copy, described below, included Two-Fisted Tales #31 and #33, plus Frontline Combat #3 and #4. A Civil War sergeant who brags that a bullet will never find him is proved a little too right, in a story with inks by MAD legend Will Elder. The first battle between two "ironclads" signals the end of the wooden warship, with art by Wally Wood.
