    1981's Heavy Metal was a seminal moment for adult animation, bringing the limitless imagination of the equally influential magazine to the big screen. This stunning piece from the Harry Canyon segment features The Girl lugging the Loc-Nar container across a bridge in the dystopic future New York City created by Moebius. Hand painted cel on acetate over printed background affixed to matting. Cel measures 9 1/2" x 14", background measures 11" x 14", matting measures 20" x 16".
