    • Against the wishes of...well everyone else on the team, Boom Boom has decided to befriend Sabretooth who at this point in X-lore is a changed man thanks to a claw through the brain from Wolverine. After some jiggering, Boom Boom figures out the Danger Room's controls and creates a bucolic scene for the former villain and the two go for a peaceful stroll- and are interrupted by Creed's hallucination of a feral Wolverine lying in wait to lobotomize him again! Pollina and Pennington are at the top of the game here with lively figurework and facial expressions and a high level of detail that makes this a gorgeous page to behold. Signed by Pennington at bottom of page 21. Pencil and ink on two sheets of Marvel Comics art board affixed to each other with tape on the reverse. 21 1/2" x 17 1/4".
