Siegel's correspondence in this feud always vacillated between rage and self-pity (often between sentences), but this one is almost entirely the latter with Siegel recounting the emotional turmoil he experiences. Of note is Siegel's reference to the "Jack Jawbreaker" storyline from Al Capp's Li'l Abner which ran in 1947 and was written about Siegel and Shuster's treatment by National. The Jack Jawbreaker strips can be viewed in this article from Animation Resources (a fantastic resource!) Letter is in good condition with no significant staining or discoloration. Also included is the original mailing envelope the letter was sent in. 8 1/2" x 11".
