Comics legend and inking partner of Jack Kirby produced this piece for Mysteries to Die For, a book store in Thousand Oaks, CA. Royer originally signed the art as 'Eugene Hackmore', a pen name he used because at the time he was doing licensed work for Disney who may not have taken kindly to one of their artists drawing a Pooh bear with a knife stuck in his belly! Signed twice by the artist, once under the pseudonym and once under his real name. Includes a certificate of authenticity from Pop-King Inc. Pencil and ink on art board with vellum overlay affixed at the top with tape. 12 1/2" x 16".
