Cover by Dick Giordano. Stories and art by Sal Gentile, Vince Colletta, Charles Nicholas and Jon D'Agostino. Sweethearts was Charlton's continuation of the first monthly romance title, lasting from the romance boom of the '50s until the early '70s. Cindy's life is changed twice, once when she rescues an injured dog, and then again when she meets its grateful owner, handsome Tom. Barbara marries Rob just so he won't be drafted, but doesn't know how to tell him she really loves him, in a story reflective of its era, 1966. Becky starts a pen-pal romance with Roger by masquerading as her older sister Sally, but doesn't know what to do when he wants to meet in person. Boy Meets Girl; I Married a Draft Dodger; Let's Be Friends; The Love of a Ronin; P.S. I Love You. 32 pages, Full Color. Cover price $0.12.
