Starts Jan 3 Newsstand Edition. "To Stalk the Killer Skies!" Guest-starring Daredevil. Script by Roger McKenzie. Art by Sal Buscema (breakdowns) and Jack Abel (finishes). Cover by Ed Hannigan and Joe Rubinstein. Inside the National Force's waterfront warehouse, the Sentinel of Liberty comes to his senses -- and remembers that Daredevil is his friend. But it may be too late, once the National Force sets the warehouse on fire! Amazingly, Cap and the Man Without Fear escape the huge blaze...and continue their pursuit of Dr. Faustus and the Grand Director. A while later at the Lakehurst Air Pavilion in New Jersey, Daredevil and the shield-slinger find their foes! And not a moment too soon, as the National Force has loaded a dirigible airship with a special mind-gas-- which Dr. Faustus plans to release over Manhattan! Unfortunately, the dirigible gets airborne before anyone can stop it. So Cap and Daredevil must get airborne themselves...courtesy of a World War I biplane! Is theLiving Legend a flying ace?
