The Joker's Asylum series of one shots saw the Clown Prince of Crime play horror-host for stories featuring the rogues of Gotham, but here he takes center stage in a tale titled 'The Joker's Mild'. After taking hostage the contestants and audience for a game show broadcast live, Joker takes over as host, asking impossible to answer questions. When the contestants give the wrong answer he...lets them live? What's going on here? Sanchez's richly textured and highly detailed art shines, both in the half-page image of Joker working the crowd and in the pained, forced smiles of the announcer and presenter.
