    • The Surfer's rage almost gets the better of him as he infiltrates Tenebrae's ship and nearly destroys the very machine that can lead him straight to the missing Alicia Masters. Using his powers (of course depicted with some Kirby Krackle!), he probes the quantum layers of the machine and discovers Tenebrae's location. Longtime collaborators Cowan and Floyd look spectacular here, especially in the fourth panel closeup on Surfer's face. Pencil and ink on Marvel Comics art board. 11" X 17 1/4".
