    1st printing. Collects stories from Detective Comics #437-443. Written by Archie Goodwin. Art by Walt Simonson. From 1973-1974 Archie Goodwin and Walt Simonson produced exceptional back-up features in Detective Comics titled Manhunter. The seven stories were so popular that two creators won best short story awards and the conclusion won best feature length story from the Academy of Comic Book Arts. The entire series was collected and reprinted in this black and white by Excalibur Enterprises in 1979 with added text and artwork about the Manhunter series.
