    A beautifully illustrated spread from Van Sciver and Stokes for this out-of-costume scene. With Max Mercury possibly dying, Bart's been more focused on school lately in an attempt to finally listen to Max's advice for once. Signed by writer Todd Dezago in the lower left margin of page 15. Pencil and ink on two unattached sheets of DC Comics art board. Both sheets measure 10 1/2" x 17".
