Well known for his work on the original Green Lantern as well as the creation of Wildcat and work on many other comics, Hasen was also the co-creator of Dondi, a daily comic strip about a war orphan adopted by an American soldier. Loose due to the fact that Hasen went directly to inks with no pencils on this piece, the two Americana icons display an undeniable energy enhanced by the bright coloring. Signed by the artist.
