An absolutely masterful opening page from legends John Byrne and Klaus Janson sees Wolverine hacking and slashing his way through a gaggle of masked troops working for the cyborg gangster Geist who has kidnapped Wolvie's frenemy Roughhouse. Byrne and Janson are perfectly simpatico here with Byrne's energetic layout brilliantly refined by Janson with a fantastic sense of motion and great details that give the page a nice texture.
