After only a short time in existence, Image has emerged as a major player in the comic book industry. And with popular characters like Spawn, Pitt, The Savage Dragon and ShadowHawk driving their line, it's no wonder that they've become a force to be reckoned with. This Hero Special Edition pops the lid off of this enigmatic company, the studios that make it up, the talents that keep it going, and what the future holds in store for comicdom's "bad boys." Included are exclusive, in-depth interviews with many of the top Image creators; a stunning cover by Erik Larsen; a special fold-out poster of the main Image cast of characters; and some special inserts: two different ShadowHawk cards and a Cyberforce card! From their humble beginnings at the Big M to their journey back into the independent spotlight, this special issue serves up the final word on Image. FC, 96 pg. Cover price $3.95.
