Breakfast with Xerxes. Story by Taylor Overbey and Mike Helms. Art and cover by Taylor Overbey and Julian Kernes. A pointed spoof of mainstream superhero comics and their tendency to kill off long-running characters for mediocre reasons. Someone is murdering the worlds greatest superheroes, and replacing them with second-raters with names like Elementary Lad, Career Girl and Water Boy. Can the killer be caught before they truly become the Legion of Stupid-Heroes? 32 pages, B&W. Cover price $2.50.
