Barney Baxter. Stories and art by Frank Miller. Four Color is the collective title for Dell's long, irregularly published series of one-shots. This issue reprints classic episodes of the aviation comic strip Barney Baxter, by Frank Miller (but not THAT Frank Miller). Barney braves a deadly blizzard to get food to a starving village. Fellow pilot "Gopher Gus" test-pilots the bizarre "Super Sparrow" plane right through an irate farmer's hen-house. Barney gets mixed up with competing foreign spies who all want an experimental new super-fuel. 64 pages, Full Color. Cover price $0.10.
