One of the original monster magazines, Journal of Frankenstein was an early effort by Calvin Beck, who went on to publish the influential monster mag Castle of Frankenstein. This issue features a biography of Frankenstein actor Boris Karloff, an interview with TV horror host Zacherley, and extensive coverage of 1950s horror and sci-fi films. Also featuring an article by future animation legend Richard Williams (Who Framed Roger Rabbit) on his first animated film, The Little Island.
