Beetlemania, script by Frank Doyle, pencils by Samm Schwartz, inks by Marty Epp; In order to get the attention of the girls away from The Beatles and back onto them, Archie, Reggie, Jughead and Moose don Beatle wigs and Beatle-style suits and play at the dance; But their act catches on, rocketing the boys to more fame and demand than they're equipped to handle. Tie Score, script by George Gladir, pencils by Bill Vigoda; Jughead lends Veronica his bow tie so she can close a too-daring blouse. Miss-Taken, pencils by Bob White; When Betty finds out Archie wants her to bring her grill over to his house so he can barbecue for Veronica, she loads it with fuel from Archie's car. Don't Quote Me, script by Frank Doyle; Veronica is swept off of her feet by an older man who plies her with fancy literary quotes; So to fight back, Archie begins trying to memorize the classics. Home Wrecker; Archie brings a bird's nest to school for his science project, then is mercilessly pursued by the bird who was living in it. "Where the Boys Are"; Veronica and Betty agree that they hate men and decide to get revenge by inviting as many as possible on dates for that night, and standing them up. "The Message"; Veronica asks Reggie to give Archie a message; But Reggie gives the message to Moose to pass on, figuring Moose will foul up the message and Archie's confusion will give Reggie time with Veronica. "Plane Facts"; Reggie tricks Archie into buying Veronica a gift she won't like. "A Change in Weather" one-page Li'l Jinx story by Joe Edwards. "Pass It On"; Archie goes to Veronica's house to tell her he's going to a boxing match with his dad instead of taking her to a dance, but Mr. Lodge and Reggie have a laugh at his expense.
