Regular 25 cent cover price edition. Cover by Walt Kelly. Stories and art by Walt Kelly. This Dell Giant features Walt Kelly Pogo reprints from Animal Comics. It was actually a dispute over this reprint comic that caused Walt Kelly to leave Dell Comics. In an early Pogoverse story by Kelly, the other animals try to trick Albert the Alligator with a help wanted ad from a suitcase factory, but luckily for him, Albert can't read. A fish story keeps growing until Pogo and Albert are hunting for a whale in the pond. Albert and Pogo want to find the Fountain of Youth, so they hold an election to see who should lead the expedition. Albert and Pogo and the Fountain of Youth; Albert and the Noah Count Ark; Albert the Alligator; Albert the Whaler; Dear Fellow Passengers; Ol Albert is Really a Deer. 100 Pages, Full Color. Cover price $0.25.
