Volume 1, 1st Printing. Fantasy artist/author Kenneth Smith built up a critically acclaimed one-man magazine, Phantasmagoria, during the 1970's. After it's fifth and final issue he continued to work even though the work was orphaned from the publishing medium he had developed for it. His art is marked by versatility, a sculpted sense of form, and often dazzling technical finesse. Gathered in this collection is some of the best work, much of it unpublished. Each piece makes a gateway to an unreal but curiously human realm, a dreaming life that catches us in its eye. Cover price $9.95.
