    Buz Sawyer was a popular comic strip that ran from November 1, 1943 to 1989. This collection follows the adventures of John "Buz" Sawyer from his days in the Navy as a fighter pilot in the Pacific Theatre of World War II, to his position as a trouble shooter for an oil company after the war, and his initial return to the Navy in the 1950's. Reprints Buz Sawyer strips from 1945 and 1946 (through April 16, 1946).
