Also in first printings, in Chapter 1 - "A Gathering of Heroes!" pages 2 of 3 were mistakenly switched. Second printings of this issue correct that mistake. Original price was $1 - price increase of 25 cents from last issue. First issue with a full color painted cover. The cover is by Jerry Mayes. Back cover by Sam Grainger features the Warrior of Llarn. "Let's Talk It Over!" has letters from Rick Manugian, Billy Leavell, Harry Warner Jr. Issue also has "Behind the Swords," in which "prominent sword and sorcery authors...share their thoughts on the 'hows and whys'" of their sword and sorcery creations.
