Charles Dana Gibson was an American illustrator known for his creation of the Gibson Girl, an idealized image of the American woman at the turn of the 20th century. This volume collects some of his illustrations from Life magazine, where he was editor from 1918 and later owner of the long-running general interest magazine. Hardcover without dust jacket, as issued. Oblong, 17.5" x 11.5", B&W.
