In this issue, when Dennis' mom has to go away for a week to care of her father, Dennis and his dad have to take care of themselves and while his Dad is at work, the Wilsons mind Dennis, much to Mr. Wilson's annoyance in "Wilson's Weak." Then in "Cool-Aid," with the weather boiling hot, Dennis and his parents try to think of ways to keep cool. Issue also has "The Cookie Jar" with inside stories about Dennis the Menace. Charlie Brown and Linus manage to catch a large fish, but when they find out what "cleaning" the fish really means, they throw it back.
