1st printing. Story and art by Liuba Gabriele. An emotional and vibrant retelling of the famous author's passions and torments, as well as her ardent relationship with Vita Sackville-West. Virginia Woolf ended her own life in March 1941, driven by the strength of her grief for the world entering another war. She was a woman full of turbulent emotions and desires, ones which brought her both great joy and suffering. Told through loose connections with some of Woolf's most beloved novels and using quotations from letters written by Woolf and Sackville-West, this graphic novel brings color and texture to this semi-secret love affair and boldly renders the waves and lulls of Woolf's extraordinary mind. Softcover, 128 pages, full color. Mature Readers Cover price $19.99.

Volume 7 - 1st printing. "Asterix and the Big Fight!" Written by Rene Goscinny. Art and cover by Albert Uderzo. Translated by Joe Johnson and Nanette McGuinness. Re-releasing the classic comic series in a larger format, with never-before-seen archival illustrations and scans. Recently adapted for an animated Netflix miniseries, "Asterix and the Big Fight" is one of the most beloved stories of the fearless Gaul battling supposedly unbeatable odds to protect his tiny village from the Roman Empire. Now the story gets new prestige treatment with illuminating commentary and insights into the original story and illustrations. The Romans are beginning to wise up! Instead of trying to conquer Asterixs village, the Romans challenge Vitalstatistx, chief of Asterixs tribe, to a "Big Fight" -- a one-on-one battle with the Gallo-Roman Chief, Cassius Ceramix of Linoleum. The loser forfeits his entire tribe to the winner! It should be an easy fight with Vitalstatistx's super strength -- but the Romans have a plan for that, too. Get ready for an all-out Gaulish brawl! Hardcover, 10-in. x 13-in., 72 pages, full color. Cover price $19.99.

Volume 2 - 1st printing. "The White King!" Written by Greg Broadmore and Andy Lanning. Art and cover by Greg Broadmore. Book two of this four-part epic plunges One Path into a breakneck prehistoric chase across unending forests, valleys, and mountains, carrying a scorned child toward a life-giving treacle rumored to flow in the Towers. Closing in are Una's tribe and the White King—an ancient albino T-rex drawn to the child's power. Lushly illustrated, brutal, and breathtaking, One Path: The White King delivers 200 pages of high-stakes survival from Greg Broadmore & Andy Lanning, published by Mad Cave Studios. In a brutal, breathtaking prehistory where cavegirls fight desperately to survive and dinosaurs rule the valleys, One Path flees her tribe with a cursed infant which she refuses to abandon. With a fierce young Runtling at her side, she drives toward the mythic Towers—vast, earthen spires said to hold life-saving sap, a treacle rich enough to keep the starving child alive. Behind them, love twists into pursuit. Una, One Paths sister, leads a relentless war-band. Driving three subjugated T-rexes, they are determined to uphold their brutal laws and destroy the child they scorned. Worse still, Una's desperate gambit has roused an older terror: the White King, an ancient albino T-rex that rises from hibernation to claim its tribute. Drawn by the infants vital scent and the promise of renewed power, the White King cuts a path of ruin across forest and plain, devouring anything that stands between it and the child. Part chase, part odyssey, One Path: The White King hurtles through a landscape where hope is hunted and trust runs thin. As the Towers loom and the hunters close, One Path must choose what to risk, and who to become if she's to save the condemned child. Softcover, 8 1/4-in. x 11 1/2-in., 224 pages, full color. 1st printing. Written by David Lester and Marcus Rediker. Art and cover by David Lester. Foreword by Marcus Rediker. A stunning graphic history of how enslaved Africans on board the Amistad rebelled and captured the slave ship in 1839, challenging a whitewashed version of history and putting the Africans back at the center of their own freedom story. From the trio of Rediker, Lester, and Buhle comes another graphic "history from below" about the Amistad rebellion of 1839 when 53 enslaved Africans on the slave ship Amistad slipped out of their restraints and overpowered their enslavers and ships crew. Sold into slavery in their homeland of Sierra Leone and later bound for Puerto Príncipe, Cuba, from Havana, these Africans, led by the charismatic warrior Cinqué, forced the ships remaining crew to sail homeward. Divided into 3 parts, The Black Schooner begins with the intense night of the uprising and takes readers on a reconstructed journey: from sailing on the open ocean to a New Haven, Connecticut, jail, where the captured Africans awaited trial for mutiny and murder; to the Supreme courtroom that found that the rebels had been illegally enslaved and would now be free to return to their native land. Through it all, artist David Lester chronicles their story using striking imagery, showing how they achieved an unexpected and powerful international victory for the abolitionist movement and forced some of the most powerful people in the world to confront the issue of human bondage. Based on Redikers book The Amistad Rebellion: An Atlantic Odyssey of Slavery and Freedom, The Black Schooner challenges a whitewashed history and instead, puts the Africans back at the center of their own freedom story—where they belong. Softcover, 6-in. x 9-in., 136 pages, B&W. Cover price $18.95.

1st printing. By Rachel Ekstrom Courage. The New York Times bestselling series that began with Murder by Cheesecake continues with an all-new Golden Girls cozy mystery! When the Girls accept a very strange invitation to a lavish party on a remote island estate, they find that murder has a way of ruining even the most glamorous of evenings. The invite delivered to 6151 Richmond Street was short on details, only promising to celebrate the greatest artist of the century and accompanied by a jewel-encrusted brooch—the whole package a brand of mysterious opulence that another Saturday night of gin rummy just cant match. Blanche Devereauxs passionate dalliances are as plentiful as hot Southern nights, and surely one cant be expected to remember all of ones suitors. But when the Girls disembark the partys ferry at a small Biscayne Bay island and meet their secretive host, the memories come flooding back: she a Radio City Rockette in her twenties, he the poor artist who could offer her nothing but his love. Fate drove them apart, but Declan, now a famous artist El Toro, professes that Blanche has always been his muse. Featured prominently in his artworks and central to El Toros return to the apex of the art world, Blanche is thrilled to have been such an inspiring figure to this man. But looking around at a party filled with those who have made their livings off the artists fame—his assistant, his art dealer, his greatest critic, and more—Dorothy isnt so sure theyre welcome on the island after all. When a tropical storm knocks power out across the island, an optimistic Blanche proclaims that everyone looks better by candlelight anyway. But when Declan is found dead the next morning, all eyes are on her, his supposed muse of thirty-plus years. Trapped at the estate with the other guests—suspects all—the Girls must band together to find the true killer and get back to pleasant evenings of card games and cheesecake.
