    Cover by Bob Fujitani. Stories and art by Gil Kane, Bob Gordon, Sam Cooper, Bruce Elliott, Jerry Schiano, August Froehlich, and Henry Kiefer. Despite the #2 and January 1946 date on the cover, the cover and contents are identical to Red Band Comics (1945) #1. Masked heroes, soldiers, and adventurers in this WWII-era anthology. Strange chance leads young Joe Djerk to become apprentice to the Sorcerer, in a story featuring nice magical art and tongue-in-cheek humor, such as a wizard mentioning Cthulu. Rangers Sarge and Angel face a desperate mission in the South Pacific, in an early story by future Marvel legend Gil Kane. In a story that deliberately breaks the fourth wall, Mortimer X. Mortimer gains the powers of other characters in his comic book (i.e. Bogey Man, The Sorcerer, etc.) to become spoof superhero Captain Milksop.
