Script by Stan Lee. Art by John Romita (layouts) and Jim Mooney (finishes). Cover by John Romita. The students are restless on the Empire State University campus. The old exhibit hall is being repurposed into an alumni center instead of a low-rent dormitory. And the student body -- including Randy Robertson -- is not happy about it. In the meantime before the exhibit hall closes, it will display one final item: a petrified clay tablet. The priceless tablet is said to hold an ancient secret in its hieroglyphics. And a certain Big Apple crime boss wants the tablet very badly! When the Kingpin learns that student protestors are taking over the exhibit hall, he makes his move to steal the tablet! But the large crime lord doesn't know that Spider-Man's alter ego is a student at ESU. So, when the Kingpin storms the exhibit hall, the web-slinger is right behind him! Can the wall-crawler keep the students safe and the tablet secure...while clashing with the Kingpin? Cameo 36 pgs. appearances by Joe Robertson, J. Jonah Jameson, Gwen Stacy, Aunt May, and Anna Watson. (Note: This story was reprinted in Marvel Tales #51.) 32 pages. Cover price $0.12.
