"Call Him...Cottonmouth!" Part 1 of 2. Script by Len Wein, pencils by George Tuska, inks by Vince Colletta. Luke Cage arrives at the office of Hero for Hire to find a package waiting for him. When he opens it, deadly serpents spring out. Luckily for our hero, their fangs can't penetrate his diamond-hard skin. This little gift was a calling card of the new player in town. A man who is every bit as strong as Power Man and probably deadlier, the gangster known as Cottonmouth. Letter to the editor from Michael Gilbert (the comics artist?).
