This issue collects the Sunday Charlie Chan strip from March 2, 1940 to May 31, 1942 (the end of the strip). A mystery man called The Hawk targets a baseball pitcher to ruin the fortunes of the Centropolis Dolphins; Charlie teaches his son Lee (and the reader) techniques of police work and crime detection; and an odd strip (but representative of its times) in which Charlie proves Hitler is the Antichrist using numerology.
