May have been distributed at this unique retail price, but likely also distributed by retailers as a giveaway. Three stories in this issue: Teepee Tim, the Indian Boy, Witch Hazel (not the one in Little Lulu!), Hare-Brained Tortoise. 36-pages, full color, slick cover with standard newsprint interior, 5-1/8-in. x 7-in., 7c cover price, Comics Code approved. Gridiron Thrills and Basketball Tips by Seamless (1950s) features Hall of Fame basketball star Bob Cousy. At the time this promotional comic was produced, high school and NCAA rule change made possible the introduction of basketballs and footballs manufactured with rubber rather than leather. The advantages of the new rubber balls are herein extolled. Full color, 8-pages standard comic book dimensions, newsprint cover and interior, 10c cover price, but was a giveaway. Cover price $0.10.
