1st printing. Text by David Leopold. Art and cover by Al Hirschfeld. This handsome volume presents 25 favorite Al Hirschfeld portraits drawn from Stephen Sondheims musicals. The art prints in this oversize poster book can be easily removed and framed, making it an ideal gift for Sondheim fans. This first volume in a series of deluxe Hirschfeld poster books contains art drawn from life before the opening night of each of Sondheims productions. On the reverse side are rare, ancillary images from the archives, as well as an introduction by Bernadette Peters, an essay by Ben Brantley, and text by David Leopold, Hirschfelds archivist and creative director of the Al Hirschfeld Foundation. Hirschfelds images capture the essence of the performances even better than the photographs of the shows. All of Sondheims best-known plays are included—West Side Story, Follies, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Sweeney Todd, Merrily We Roll Along, and Sunday in the Park with George. Al Hirschfeld drew his first Sondheim show in 1957—West Side Story. In his iconic, illustrative style, Hirschfeld captured almost all of Sondheims Broadway shows and several films featuring the composers songs and scripts. Sondheim was a Hirschfeld collector, acquiring drawings directly from the artist and through his friends and collaborators like Hal Prince. In his last interview just five days before his death on November 26, 2021, the New York Times ran a photo of Sondheim in his home with an image of Hirschfelds Putting it Together in the background. All images for this book have been scanned from the archives of the Al Hirschfeld Foundation, ensuring the highest possible quality. Softcover, 11-in. x 14-in., 58 pages, B&W. 1st printing. Story and art by Diane DiMassa. Introduction by Sarah Schulman. Hothead Paisan, a murderous icon of the 90s LGBTQ+ comics scene, comes roaring back into print in this fresh edition (including a new interview and supplemental materials) of one of the funniest, sharpest, and most unexpectedly warm comics of the late twentieth century, still as shocking today as it was nearly thirty years ago. Hothead Paisan is an icon of the 90s lesbian DIY scene, a patron saint of those who wonder if going off the deep end is the only sane response to life in modern America. Diane DiMassas Hothead starts out in a murderous frenzy—taking out a variety of chauvinists and creeps—but soon deepens into a reflection on oppression, self-destruction, and living it up outside the conservative norms of the 90s. Hotheads rage is stoked by her inner demon, Personality #2, but sometimes tempered with the help of Roz, her friend who offers Zen wisdom and tough love, and Chicken, her cat and constant companion. Softcover, 456 pages, B&W. Mature Readers Cover price $34.95.

1st printing. Story and art by Eugene Yelchin. In a stunning sequel to The Genius Under the Table, Eugene Yelchins graphic memoir depicts his harrowing journey from Leningrads underground art scene to a state-run Siberian asylum—and to eventual safety in the US. No longer the creative little boy under his grandmothers table, Yevgeny is now a young adult, pursuing his artistic dreams under the constant threat of the KGBs stranglehold on Russias creative scene. When a chance encounter with an American woman opens him up to a world of romance and possibility, Yevgeny believes he has found his path to the future—and freedom overseas. But the threat of being drafted into the military and sent to fight in Afghanistan changes everything in a terrible instant, and he takes drastic measures to decide his fate, leading to unthinkable consequences in a mental hospital. With bold art bringing a vivid reality to life, National Book Award Finalist and Newbery Honoree Eugene Yelchins sequel to the acclaimed memoir The Genius Under the Table returns to Yevgenys saga, balancing the terror and oppression of Soviet Russia with the authors signature charm and dark wit. I Wish I Didn't Have to Tell You This shines a stark spotlight on history while offering a poignant, nuanced, and powerfully resonant look at growing up in—and ultimately leaving—Cold War Russia in the early 1980s. Hardcover, 6-in. x 9-in., 432 pages, full color. Young Adult Cover price $22.99.

Volume 11 - 1st printing. "Horror, Horror!" Collects Ice Cream Man (2018 Image) #41-44. Written by W. Maxwell Prince. Art and cover by Martin Morazzo. Just what is horror, anyhow? You wont find the answers here, I'm afraid. (Wait…I'm AFRAID? No I'm not! Although—there ARE four more of those ICE CREAM MAN stories in this 11th volume...and those things always leave me feeling a little HAUNTED, as it were. Maybe I AM afraid. I mean, there's a Graham Greene spy story with this ghastly bovine monster; a haunted house yarn full of microfiche; a special all-star entry featuring one-page stories by writers like GRANT MORRISON, PATTON OSWALT,** MATT FRACTION**, KELLY SUE DECONNICK, and lots more. Oh, and lest I forget: Craig's performance review! YEESH. You know what, I take it back—I am totally, unequivocally horrified. And yeah, maybe I don't know exactly what that means—but just look at the hairs on my arms…they're standing up straight!). Enjoy! Softcover, 136 pages, full color. Mature Readers Cover price $16.99.
