A real rarity for horror and animation fans. A comics adaptation of the 1967 animated special from Rankin-Bass, which starred Boris Karloff. MAD legends Harvey Kurtzman and Jack Davis were involved in the film's story and design, both of which the adaptation follows closely. A page of film credits (including Kurtzman's) is illustrated with movie stills. Baron Frankenstein has decided to retire, and invites all the other monsters to a banquet at his remote island castle.
