Phantasmo and Whizzer try to rescue a scientist from foreign spies who want his new miracle fuel formula. Phantasmo uses his ethereal powers to save Whizzer's uncle's farm after the dam collapses. But then he looks closer, and realizes the dam was sabotaged by a crime ring whose next target is New York. Phantasmo and Whizzer discover that an abandoned yacht is actually a front for modern-day pirates armed with torpedoes. While vacationing in the north woods, Phantasmo uses his astral-projection body to fight a forest fire, but his human body is in danger of being consumed by the flames. 8 1/2-in. x 11 1/2-in, 48 pages, B&W.
