The Pledge to the Flag (1958) is a promotional comic book produced by Vital Publications for IGA Foods. This comic book promotes the history of the American flag and the Pledge of Allegiance; specifically the addition in 1954 of the significant words "One Nation Under God" as mentioned by then-current President Eisenhower. For that reason, members of the ACLU as well as any liberal who swoons easily should avoid this comic book. 16 pages, full color, 4.5-in. x 3-in., all newsprint.
