Under the Hood Comics (1953) is a promotional comic distributed by the National Carbon Company/Union Carbide and Prestone Anti-Freeze. Popeye appears on page 3. Includes several full page, 1-panel gag stories by Golden Age great and Pulitzer-Prize nominated artist Gill Fox who also illustrated for Quality Comics (Torchy and Plastic Man). Each gag strip promotes Prestone products.
