Promotional mini-comic. This 1949's Wisco-Klarer giveaway came free in a box of either Crackin' Good or Laurel Graham Crackers (Carr-Consolidated Biscuit Co.). This promotional comic reprints material from Oscar Comics (Timely). Full-color, 24-pages, 7-in. x 3-1/2-in., all newsprint with ad for all six comics in series on back cover, no cover price. NOTE: Publication date is based on an ad that appeared in Tom Mix #21 (Sept. 1949 issue). Comic has no publication or copyright info.

Walt Disney Paint Book (1949) is a coloring book published by Whitman. Includes pictures of many of the Disney cast of characters including Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy, Pluto, Daisy, Minnie, and more. 94 pages, square-bound card stock cover, 8.25-in. x 11-in.

First printing, 1949. Variety of Disney animated characters in humorous situations to color. Saddle-stitched at the top, 8 1/2-in. x 10 3/4-in., 36 pages, black and white.

Mailer only. The 1949 is of particular note as it is a rare Carl Barks item. Features the same WDC&S cover as the 1942 mailer but with art changed so the nephew is handing teacher Donald a comic book rather than an apple, as originally drawn by Walt Kelly. The covers shown on this comic was a rejected cover by Barks that was intended for C&S110 but was re-drawn by Kelly for C&S111. The original art has been lost and this is its only appearance.
