Painted cover by Bob Powell. Stories and art by Carl Burgos and Robert Hayward Webb. The first series from 1960s publisher Eerie presents gory tales of horror and the macabre, many "reanimated" from classic pre-Code horror comics. A cheating wife and her lover have their heads shrunk while they're still alive. A woman hires a witch and then unwisely ignores her bill. Newlyweds are shipwrecked on a desert island, but they're not alone - there's also a colony of gigantic ants. Plus macabre beliefs from world folklore. And a rare painted cover by comics legend Bob Powell. The Blood Blossom; Heads of Horror; Swamp Haunt; Cry From the Coffin; Fanged Terror; Black Death; Nightmare; Rest in Peril. 8 1/2-in. x 11-in., 48 pages, B&W. Mature readers. Cover price $0.35.

Harvey reprints adventures of the good little witch and her friends in a plus-sized package. Wendy's sentient broom "Broomie" gets lonely, so Wendy transforms herself into a human broom. Casper helps Annie search for Millie and Billy, only to find the mysterious Floogl is involved. Nightmare's desire to wear a classy saddle is confounded by his intangibility. The Search for Millie and Billy; Casper; Witch Sisters; Nightmare; Spooky. 68 pages, full color. Cover price $0.25.
