Stories and art by Domingo Mandrafina, Ezra Jackson, B. Ann Slate, Michael Hervey and Oscar Fraga. 1st Printing - Written by Elliott O'Donnell. A werwolf is a man-wolf. It is supposed that fierce men have the ability to turn themselves into wolves. At one time, it seemed that the words, virile (manly) and wer (man) were interchangeable. Virility is a necessary characteristic of the man who eventually attains werwolfdom. The transformation from man to wolf is almost always accompanied by the carnivorous appetite of the wolf. Softcover, 5" x 7", 292 pages, B&W. Cover price $2.95.
