The long-running vehicle for Disney character comics featured art by Carl Barks, the legendary Good Duck Artist. Goofy is looking after a friend's parrot that's in the habit of "casing the joint" for crooks. In a story by Barks, Huey, Dewey and Louie try to mediate an argument between Donald and his hated Neighbor Jones. Merlin Jones and Annette have a romantic misunderstanding. The cover features former Mouseketeer Annette Funicello in her role from the 1964 Disney film The Misadventures of Merlin Jones. Plus a promotional contest featuring Funicello.
