After taking on a number of odd opponents at the airport, Bobby catches up with Opal at her workplace, Winterbrand Technologies. Opal's boss, Alain Weiss, gives him a tour of the complex and he is shown a chamber that contains a little mutant baby whose ice powers are unstable. Bobby is shocked to find that this a son he never knew he had as Opal kept the child a secret from him.
