Variant cover. The record-setting video game is now a Malibu comic! Join the cataclysmic cast of the hit video game, Mortal Kombat, featuring Sonya Blade, Kano, Raiden, Liu Kang, Scorpion, Sub-Zero and Johnny Cage as fate brings them together for a tournament on a mysterious, interdimensional island. But the deadly battles are the least of their troubles as they race after and against each other for a magical book that the evil Shang Tsung possesses, containing the secrets of mystic martial arts and the power of shape shifting. Whoever gets the book can become the world's greatest martial arts fighter. But they have to go through Shang Tsung's servant, the undefeatable half dragon, half man Goro, first. Written by Charles Marshall. Art by Patrick Rolo and Bobby Rae. Cover price $2.95.
