    The Guidebook to Comics Fandom (1965) , written/edited by one of the founders of comic book fandom, Jerry Bails, and published by Bill Spicer. Chocked full of information about 1960's comic fandom, including a list of the date and title of all the best Golden Age first edition comics for the true collector's checklist, and a glossary of terms used by collectors and dealer for the layman to begin his journey to becoming an expert in the then-budding field of comic collecting. Filled with ads for other comic fanzines, plus "comics for sale" ads from a few of the earliest comic dealers. The ad for Star-Studded Comics on the back cover was designed by Buddy Saunders who, along with Larry Herndon and Howard Keltner, published most issues of Star-Studded Comics. 36 pages including covers, 5.5-in. x 8.75-in., black-and-white interior.
