This issue features parodies of some of the TV legends of the time, including I Love Lucy, Steve Allen (the first host of The Tonight Show) and The Colgate Comedy Hour, with a focus on tough-guy detective heroes like Mickey Spillane's Mike Hammer. Liberitchy, a spoof of pianist Liberace, builds bigger and bigger musical instruments, until he creates one that levels New York City with sound waves. Spoofs of 1950s advertising, including the Book of the Month Club, Charles Atlas, and hair care.
